Great boot! Order 1/2 size bigger than you normally wear. This boot is great, but unfortunately the pair I received is defective as the rubber sole has detached from the upper. See pictures.Good, comfortable & nice looking bootsThese are very, very good walking boots . They are not stiff or awkward, they're really soft, gentle and very warm . They have the added factor of looking really quite smart with a decent nubuck outer and some good red trim for a bit of flair . The sole isn't too rigid and gives you a good bit of flex and the ankles are easy to tighten to give you good support . Price wise these are a little bit expensive but I think Tom's put some good thought into the product . They are a bit chunky so as these are described as sneakers I'd be very skeptical to wear these as fashion items . They are not too dissimilar to a chunky pair of cats or Timberlands .These are nice looking shoes and fit just right. A bit stiff at first. You may want to wear thicker socks to protect your ankles skin but that gets better only after a few walks and might not even be necessary at all.
