It’s really not black, it’s like a rubber black. The shoe makes the outfit look bad.I really like the style of these shoes, they’re appropriate for work and going out. I’m between sizes and wish I would have sized up for just a bit more room. The inner edge of the mule rubs on the inner side of my foot after wearing them all day. I would order again in different colors because of how sleek and versatile they are, but will definitely size up by 0.5 next time .True to size and EXACTLY what I was looking for. I've been wanted a pair of mules for a while now, and this shoe ticked all the boxes for me! I am running around after a toddler everyday, so I love that this shoe is not heeled and that the sole has a little cushion. The edge of this shoe comes up high enough on my foot so that it doesn't slip off, which is a problem that I found in a lot of other mules I tried on.I normally wear a 6.5 with a normal width foot, so I'm glad I didn't size up. Fits perfectly!No need to break these in. They were comfy from the first day I got them! Love the natural leather color too! Highly recommend.I like these a lot, they are comfortable. The leather comes high on the vamp (top of foot) so if having a shoe rub in this spot may be uncomfortable for you. Toe is an almond shape so not super pointy. Weight of the shoe is comfortable. The color of the leather is cool, sometimes looks gold-ish in different lighting. I normally wear an 8, the 8 I ordered fits comfortable loose, shoe doesn't slide off foot easily.I am universally size 8 any type of shoes but they were out. So I ordered half a number up and they are actually fitting me just right.Otherwise it is real leather and they look & feel greatI like them a lot. Upside: comfy padded sole, easy to slide on and go, totally neutral to wear with anything, good sandal alternative to cover up pre-pedicure toes. Downside: They were snug on the top of my arch at first which made for a brief breaking in period; my father calls them my "hooves" and it's hard to break the image now that it's in my head.I was glad I got a 1/2 size larger than what I normally wear. Other than that, I am super happy about these shoes! They don’t slide, they fit well and they are super comfortable.I like it. I wear them everyday for work and they are really comfortable. There was no breaking in period. The only down side is the color. It is a very LIGHT beige leather rather than a tan brown and did not darken at all after wear, and gets dirty easily.Ich liebe diese Mules.
