I've owned original design Toms before.I found the material of these to be softer so my foot did not feel as supported as they did in the originals.The footbed has memory foam which sort of makes it feel like you're walking on squishy boards. Still waiting to see if repeated long wears will flatten it to be less squishy.For those that need supportive shoes, whether it's because they are on their feet a lot or because they walk a lot (or both) I really don't recommend.
